Our story

Since 2002, Print City has grown from a printer into a business branding team, adding the services businesses kept asking for.

    Print City begins

    The Print City brand is created as a printing business.

  2. 2011

    Ryan starts out on his own

    Ryan Hansen starts a design and print company from home, focusing on graphic design and outsourcing the printing.

  3. 2018

    Ryan takes over Print City

    Ryan buys the Print City brand to complement his design and print company, and hits the ground running. At the time, Print City does purely digital and offset printing from its shop on Standen Street.

    Packaging and labels

    Boxes, labels and swing tags join the range, so products carry the same brand as the business behind them.

    Signs

    Businesses kept asking for signs, so we brought them in-house, from wide format printing to installation.

  6. 2020

    Uniforms and embroidery

    Embroidery, screen printing and DTF arrive, so uniforms are decorated in the same building as the rest of the brand.

  7. 2022

    A bigger building

    In March 2022, we take over the lease on a bigger building, doubling our floor space.

  8. 2022

    The fit-out

    We fit the building out with new offices and production space.

  9. 2023

    Vehicle wraps

    Wraps join the range, designed, printed and installed in our Murray Bridge workshop.

  11. 2026

    The flood

    In March 2026, floodwater goes through our building, and we lose a lot of stock and machinery.

  12. Today

    Back under one roof

    We've rebuilt after the flood, so print, signs, wraps, uniforms, packaging and design are made in Murray Bridge again, by a team with over 50 years of combined experience.

Why it all sits under one roof.

Most suppliers offer some of this and broker or outsource the rest. We keep the work in our own building, because that's how you keep control of quality and timing.
